Is there a contract?
No minimum contract on anything. Locate is monthly and you can cancel any time. Fleet is monthly too, and you can cancel with notice as set out in our Terms of Service.
How much does it cost?
Locate is £6 a month for a pet or item tracker, or £7 a month for a car. Fleet is £9, £15, £25 or £35 per vehicle a month, depending on the tier. Trackers are from £75, bought outright, with fitting across South Yorkshire from £80. See Locate prices and the Fleet tiers.
Which areas do you cover?
We fit trackers across Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster and Barnsley. Pet and item trackers arrive by post, and you can fit a car tracker yourself if you'd rather.
Do I have to buy your hardware?
No. We work with Teltonika, Concox, Queclink and JT808 devices. If you already have compatible trackers, we'll tell you honestly whether they'll work.
What happens to my tracker if I cancel?
It's still yours, because you bought it outright. It runs on the Excubia platform, so it stops reporting when your subscription ends.
Where is my data stored?
On our own servers in the UK. We never sell location data, and we don't share it with advertisers, data brokers or insurers. The detail is in our privacy policy.
What happens if a device fails?
Warranty terms are in our Terms of Service, in plain English. If it's faulty, we replace it. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act aren't affected.
How long will my tracker get security updates?
We tell you the minimum update period for each device before you buy it. Current periods, and how to report a security issue, are on our security page.
Can someone use a tracker to follow a person?
Not with our permission. Tracking a person without a lawful basis breaks our terms and may be a crime. If you've found a tracker you didn't agree to, tell us here. In an emergency, call 999.
Will this reduce my insurance premium?
We make no claims about your insurance. That's a matter between you and your insurer.
Can you get my stolen vehicle or lost pet back?
We can't promise that, and we won't. A tracker gives you the location to act quickly, and it depends on coverage, power and the device staying in place.
